I live. I travel. I live to travel. And photograph. But not your traditional photographs, sunsets, or landscapes. Well, sometimes I do shoot an amazing sunset or landscape, but my photography is a little more quirky. I have a different way of looking at the world. I see things around me that others may not. I try to capture this view, my view, of the world through my photography.
I have always loved art and been creative. I am also an engineer and technologist. Digital photography and especially iPhone photography has opened up a whole new world for me (as it has for many people). I can express my creative side while experimenting with a great piece of technical equipment, the digital camera. I can satisfy my creative and techy side at the same time! When I see something captivating, interesting, fun…I can now just shoot and capture my vision of the world. Multiple times, at different settings, different views, different lighting, with shadows, with reflections…endless possibilities. Taking lots of photographs lets me experiment and see which ones “speak” to me. I get to choose which images I want to share with the rest of the world (or at least those people who have seen my work and cared enough to follow me). You will see that I love certain themes…reflections, shadows, repetition in nature, close-ups, bright colors…just to name a few. I see such imagery all around me, especially when I travel. I love to capture my personal way of seeing the world.
